6-Hole Putting Green
No need to schedule a “tee time” with a putting green and hybrid bocce court like this in your own backyard. The 6-hole putting green field is composed of Poly Putt Bi-Color (2-tone) grass and enhanced by the fringe is 1.75″ 60 oz. green with brown thatching. The bocce court was resurfaced with Poly-Putt Bi-Color synthetic grass. Low voltage up lighting was installed around the 50 year old cypress trees. This only adds to the ambiance of this golf enthusiast’s backyard
Hybrid Bocce Ball Court
This hybrid bocce court was transformed from an oyster shell surface to beautiful Poly-Putt Bi-Color synthetic grass. Not only did this court gain a new look, but now is multi-functional. By adding 2 putting cups it can easily be transformed from a bocce court to a putting surface. A well-defined score board has also been added to an already inviting backyard.

FAQ
What makes this 6-hole backyard putting green unique?
In Saratoga, we have constructed a premium 6-hole putting green using a special Poly Putt Bi-Color turf that provides a realistic roll and allows for quality putting practice without the need for a tee time. The two-tone turf and custom fringe provides a true golf course feel.
Are the putting green cups similar to the ones used in Livermore installations?
Yes, the putting green cups used in Livermore projects are the same aluminum cups that we use here. These cups are also regulation-sized, so they are built with features for golf durability, and smooth drops.
What type of artificial grass is best for a bocce ball court?
For this project, we used Poly-Putt Bi-Color synthetic grass which is best for creating an artificial grass bocce ball court. It offers smooth, consistent playing surfaces with excellent drainage and low maintenance for year-round use.
How is a hybrid bocce ball court different from a traditional turf bocce court?
A hybrid synthetic turf bocce court allows dual functionality. In this backyard, we have added two putting cups to the bocce ball court artificial turf to create a multi-use space for both playing bocce and putting practice.
Is synthetic grass a good option for bocce ball court resurfacing?
Yes. Resurfacing bocce ball courts with synthetic grass is cleaner, more durable, and provides smoother gameplay than surfaces like oyster shell and decomposed granite. Synthetic grass is maintenance free, and more level throughout its life.
Can you provide design ideas for backyard bocce ball courts?
Yes, we provide a variety of backyard bocce ball court design ideas. This Saratoga project is a great example, featuring low-voltage accent lighting, a modern scoreboard, synthetic turf resurfacing, and even a 6-hole putting green for added functionality and style.
